Record Retention - Critical Parts


Requirements


For parts identified as critical, the Seller and Seller's subcontractors shall maintain records of inspections and tests performed, dispositions of nonconforming articles, and documented information that demonstrate the articles conformance to the Buyer’s and Seller’s requirements.  Records shall remain legible, complete, readily available, and retrievable for at least ten (10) years after each shipment or such longer period as may be required by applicable Law. The aforementioned records shall not be destroyed without the Buyer's written concurrence.  Additional retention time, if required by Buyer, will be subject to negotiation.  The Seller shall notify the Buyer of any activity at the Seller's facility that may impact the retention of these records.

The Buyer may request delivery of such records at no additional cost.
